Hurricane Irma: Deadly hurricane wrecks havoc in the caribbean (photos)


Following the recent storm that shook the heart of Texas, Houston, another deadly storm irma, has struck the carribean island atleast leaving 10 people dead. 

Prime minister of Antigua and Babuda, Gaston Browne, disclosed that one child was killed in the hurricane that completely wrecked devastation of lives and properties.

He further disclosed that the island of babuda is "barely habitable".

He told the BBC that 50% of the Barbuda population were now homeless and that it would cost $100m (£80m) to rebuild the island. 

Also, French interior minister, Gerard Collomb, said that eight people died and 23 people were injured in the French Caribbean territories of Saint Barthelemy and Saint Martin. he told the BBC as the picture of devasted places were shown around.

Meanwhile, Florida is preparing evacuation, with Irma set to strike the U.S. state late on Saturday. 
The Islands that were affected are; Antigua and Babuda, St Martin, St Barthelemy, Anguilla, British Virgin Island, puerto rico.
