President of the united states has deeply condemned the shooting that left no fewer than
58 people dead and 515 people injured.
Speaking from the white house about the gory incident he said, "it is an act of pure evil".
He added, " our unity cannot be shattered by evil, our bond cannot be broken by violence,
and although we feel such great anger at the senseless murder of our fellow citizens, it is
our love that defines us today and always will forever".
He continued, " in times such as this, I know we are searching for some kind of meaning
in the chaos, some kind of light in the darkness. The answers do not come easy. But we can take solace knowing that even the darkest space can be brightened by a single light, and even the most terrible despair can be illuminated by a single ray of hope".
However, an advocate of gun control reform, made a passionate plea for his colleagues to take immediate action on gun violence.
" it's time for Congress to get off its ass and do something". He said.
Meanwhile, an Arizona congress woman, Gabby Gifford's, while recalling her experience on how she survived the 2011 shooting at a constituent meeting, also pleaded with law makers to address the epidermic of gun violence in US.
It is however, recorded that Las Vegas shooting is the deadliest in American history.
