Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu is running an illegal government - Lauretta Onochie

The special assistant to the president on social media have said that Nnamdi Kanu is running an illegal government in our nation, with his own army, his secret service, Anthem, Coat of Arms, pass port and currency. Stating that it is an affront to our collective existence. 

She said that is a common knowledge that the South Easteners were being forced to fly the biafra flag and to wear biafra memorabilia. 

"it is a common knowledge that the South Easteners were being forced to fly their biafra flag and to wear biafra memorabilia. There have been lives and properties across the South East, and threats of rape to women who shun their hate campaign".

Defending the python dance by the Nigerian army, she said that it will bring peace and order among the agitators of biafra.

"The Nigerian army, has come to the South East to excercise it's duty towards Ndigbo who have been held captive,by the fear, not of some foreign agressors but of some youngsters who act under the manipulations and brainwashing by one who is delusional. Anyone who suffers from delusion of grandeur or megalomania, should not be left running wild among law-abiding people".

She further said that the python dance is not just for the freedom of Ohaneze to have a sound footing and advocate fearlessly for ordinary Ndigbo, but also for ordinary igbo so they can associate freely and that no one should have to be in danger or live in fear for not supporting a criminal agenda in a free country. 

She also said that Ohaneze have not helped Ndigbo living in the region because they themselves are also terrified.

"how has the Ohaneze helped terrified Ndigbo living in fear for their lives and properties in the South East of Nigeria? they haven't because they themselves have been terrified. For starters, Ohaneze Ndigbo is an association that was registered in Nigeria to represent the interests of Ndigbo of Nigeria. that is why is called Ohaneze Ndigbo and not Ohaneze ndi IPOB or biafra!

We must therefore, thank the Nigerian army for coming to the aid of Nigerians in the South East and safeguarding them form the antics of a very sick young man.

Deputy Governor of Ekiti State elected as the PDP flagbearer for 2018 guber polls

Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Fayose has been selected by the peoples democratic party, PDP as the flag bearer for the upcoming 2018 governorship elections.  

 According to reports by the News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) his adoption was announced after the PDP Stakeholder's meeting held at the Government House, Ado Ekiti, at the instance of the governor.

NAN reports that adoption of the deputy governor was the major decision reached at the party stakeholders’ meeting.

Secretary to the State Government, Dr Modupe Alade,however, described the deputy governor as a competent and loyal member of the Governor’s political family.

She added that his adoption was a reward for loyalty, dedication and commitment.

Anambra church shooting: gunmen strikes again, kills policemen, civilian

Just one week after unknown gunmen attacked a Catholic church in Anambra on a Sunday morning, a fresh attack has been carried out on the Assemblies of God Church on the Oguta road Onitsha, Anambra State.

According to a report by Punch, the gunmen struck on Sunday, August 13, 2017 killing one policeman and a civilian.

It was also reported that the gunmen had stopped at the church, but on sighting some policemen at the church, opened fire on them.

“When the firing became too hot, the policemen abandoned their patrol vehicle and ran away for safety.

“The gunmen moved to their patrol van and took a gun belonging to the policeman they killed.

Another report stated that, “Gunmen on Okada (motorcycle) shot a policeman and collected his rifle. They also shot dead an Okada man while escaping, and the passenger he was carrying was injured. The policeman was the one armed among his colleagues; they were providing security while church service was going on at Assemblies of God Church, Oguta road Onitsha."

The State's Commissioner of Police, Garba Umar, has reportedly confirmed the incident to journalists.
