wigs not only to save them the cost of removing and refixing but also to save them the inconvenience of always combing and oiling it. Yes! I have also come up with some chit-chat on how to maintain your weavon wigs and make it glowing always.

Here are the 7 easy things you need to do.

1. When you need to comb a wig, be gentle. Do not use regular brushes and if you can, only comb it. It doesn't need to be combed everyday.

2. While at home, always take it off and carefully put on a wig stand to help it maintain its shape and to prevent your natural hair tugging and pulling out.

3. After washing your wig, do not shake in a towel. Dry it piece-by-piece so that strands of fibres will not start falling off. Also never style your wig while its still wet.

                                     

4. Also, after saturating your wig in water, squeeze it dry. Don't wring it or the base of your wig could become misshaped and dry funny.

5. While washing, use weavon shampoo. Never use shampoo meant for washing natural hair. Even though conditioner is OK, the shampoo is too harsh and can lead to hair falling out.

6. You can condition your hair every couple weeks or so to keep it shiny and soft and make sure you rinse it all out or it could lead to build up in your wig.

7. Do not wash it daily or even weekly, it can lead to your wig looking less realistic and falling apart. You can only wash after wearing it for 25 times.

First, do not have your braided wigs tied up often, yeah! This is common but I tell you doing it always will make the tips look tacky.

Secondly, do not sleep with your braided wig on because that will result in a lot of frayed hairs appearing.

Finally, do not plait the ends. Good maintenance is the key to getting good value for your money, no matter how good something is, if not properly maintained it will wither away.

Naira Appreciates By 30.3% Against Dollar In 10 Months

The naira has appreciated by 30.3 per cent since February when the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) began its aggressive interventions at the foreign exchange market, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

The Nigerian currency had exchanged at N520 to the dollar at the peak of onslaughts by currency speculators before the CBN stated intervening by injecting foreign exchange in the market.

The CBN injection of over 3.6 billion dollars to meet the demand for foreign exchange resulted in the convergence of rates at the parallel market and the Bureau De Change segments.

The apex bank’s intervention led to the current flattening of the rate at 362.5 to the dollar at the parallel market.

Prof Sheriffdeen Tella, a Senior Economist at the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun, said that the CBN interventions were made possible by the increase in the price of oil at the international market.

Tella said that the crude oil production output of two million barrels per day also meant more money for the nation.

He, however, that the recent production cut by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to 1.8 million barrels per day might affect the nation’s crude oil earnings.

He urged the CBN to continue to intervene at the official foreign exchange market market sustain the appreciation of the naira across board. (NAN)

Enugu workers get extra month salary to celebrate Christmas

Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has approved the payment of 13th month to Enugu workers to celebrate Christmas season.

This was achieved following the immediate removal of the chairman of the universal basic education board, ENSUBEB, Ikeja Asogwa.

According to guardian, Asogwa had masterminded the brutal and public assault on the permanent secretary by mobilizing three thugs and four armed policemen to brutally assault him. However, the Nigeria labour congress and crew had condemned the act as " babaric and gangstaric act in the public service of Enugu state"

However, the state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Virginus Nwobodo stated that the approval of the 13th month salary is unprecedented in the history of the state, considering the nation’s economic downturn that has made it impossible for many states to pay workers’ salaries.

I think this girl is going crazy. Symba, the curvy American model who has been disturbing Nigerians for a while now, has declared intentions to go after married former Nigerian president, Goodluck Jonathan because of his wealth.

A Popular pastor, Shepherd Bushiri, who is the founder of the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church has break the internet by gifting her little girl with a brand new car, maserati levanti worth N27million.

Well, it may have seem not right to have gifted a girl at a very tender age with such a gigantic gift which she'll only end up riding herself when she gets to that age.
